The first LaSciL Summer School took place from July 3 to July 8 in the Greek island of Crete.
\nThe training event was hosted by the Foundation for Research and Technology \u2013 Hellas<\/a> (FORTH), one of the project partners.\u00a0 Seventeen teachers from Greece, Portugal, and the United Kingdom attended the five-day course.
\nThe lectures and workshops happened at the facilites of the Department of Physics of University of Crete<\/a>\u00a0(UoC). The teachers were presented to the pedagogical methodology developed for the project, as well as digital tools and learning scenarios called demonstrators.
\nThe participants also had the opportunity to visit Skinakas Observatory<\/a>, a professional astronomical facility operated by FORTH and UoC.
\nA cultural visit to the archeological site of Knossos was also offered.
\nOn the final day of activities, the teachers presented their own demonstrators developed during the course.
\nThe next LaSciL Summer School will be held on February 2023 in Portugal.<\/p>\n
