Short description
From a photograph of the Moon students distinguish the most distinct/impressive craters and surface formations. They find the names of these formations and search on the internet the information they are most interested in about these formations. Students collect and process the information by creating short or longer articles. They then use a photo of the Moon’s disc (near the full moon) to prepare a map of the Moon. The educator can also organize an astronomical observation of the Moon.
